Who operates it

Data accessed and purpose

The OAuth client can request access to my Google account identity and to Apps Script, Calendar, Chat, Contacts, Docs, Drive (including Drive Activity and Drive Labels), Forms, Gmail, Meet, People, Photos, Search Console, Sheets, Sites, Slides, Tasks and YouTube. These permissions can include reading or changing data, depending on the service and the command used. The current authorisation does not include Google Ads, Analytics or Classroom.

I use this access to perform tasks I initiate through the gog CLI or personal automations. The particular account data accessed depends on the command. The public pages on this website do not sign users in or receive Google account data.

Storage and retention

gog stores OAuth client credentials and tokens on my devices. Commands may show Google data in a terminal or save outputs to local files. These files, their backups and any logs containing data remain until I remove them under the retention settings of the systems involved.

Sharing and other tools

gog communicates with Google APIs to carry out requested commands. When I use it through another tool or an AI assistant, account data included in that tool’s input or output may also be processed by the provider of that tool, subject to its own privacy terms. I do not sell Google user data or use it to target advertising.

Control and deletion

I can revoke this OAuth client’s access in my Google Account and delete locally stored credentials, files and backups. Revoking access stops future API calls using that grant, but does not itself remove results previously saved by a command.

Visits to this website

The static-site host may process ordinary request information, such as IP addresses, to serve these pages. The site itself does not collect Google account data.
